About Tonya Scholz

Born in Vietnam, Tonya Scholz emigrated to the United States in 1975 at the age of eight. Despite being raised in the US, Ms. Scholz still received an upbringing steeped in the old world traditions of her native country which all but functions on the axiom that women are to be seen and not heard. To her parents chagrin, Ms. Scholz left home early at the tender young age of sixteen to pursue an exciting career in fashion design. However, this challenge quickly bored an exhausted this formidable intellect leading her to change her career focus to advertising & marketing instead.
Ms. Scholz supported herself through college (without the now-popular crutch of student loans) giving her diverse experience and a wide variety of skill sets. Her actual titles & occupations were myriad - from military sales rep., make-up artist, hairdresser, store manager, Goldwell account executive, Toshiba sales rep, Nars Cosmetics S.E. trainer, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) exhibitor account executive, Age Diagnostic Laboratory (ADL) consultant and communicator, to name but a few.
In 2004, Ms. Scholz embraced the health & medicine field and became a Life Extensionist. To put her people skills to best use, she started the communications relations consultant agency kNOw-AGING, Inc. in August of 2006. As of today, Ms. Scholz is now the past president of the Association for Women in Communications (AWC) - South Florida Chapter and "Women of the Year" chairperson.
